The Tunica County Utility District is seeking vendor proposals for the supply and installation of an Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) System. These proposals shall be submitted to and received by the Tunica County Utility District, 986 Magnolia Street, Tunica, MS, 38676 on or before 10 a.m., August 28, 2025, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. All vendors which plan to submit a proposal shall state such in a letter (Intention to Propose letter) addressed as above and received by the Tunica County Utility District no later than 5 business days after the last advertisement of this RFP. Failure to submit an Intention to Propose letter will void any proposal submitted by a vendor which did not submit the letter.

TCUD intends to acquire an Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) system and automated meter readers, equipment , hardware, related products, software, training and services (collectively, the “ AMI System”), for its approximately 2,200 water meters. TCUD is seeking proposals for the development and implementation of an AMI System from bona-fide, qualified vendors/firms . This proposal does not include the installation of the automated water meters.

TCUD is an Equal Business Opportunity City. As such, each vendor shall also submit with their proposal completed EBO forms, which will be mailed to each vendor upon receipt of the Intention to Propose letter. Vendors which do not submit these forms, filled out completely, will not be considered.

TCUD reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any informalities in any proposal. Vendor pricing shall be guaranteed for a period of 90 days after proposals are received. Upon selection of the successful vendor, TCUD will negotiate specific terms of the final contract with the successful vendor.

All equipment proposed for supply herein shall meet all Federal and State standards for water supply systems.

All questions regarding this Advertisement for Proposals shall be addressed in writing to John Sparks (jsparks@neel-schaffer.com) at least ten business days before the proposals are due. All questions will be answered via an addendum submitted to all vendors which have submitted Intention to Propose Letters at least three business days before the proposals are due.
