Separate  Sealed Bids  for  the Construction of  the  Twin Lakes Subdivision Water improvements  

Distribution Lines Project will be received by the Citv of Horn Lake. Mississippi for supplying all labor and materials (as specified) necessary for the work. Work shall consist essentially of the following: Install 8-inch and 12-inch PVC water mains: install connections to existing water mains and storage tank: install altitude valve and vault: and abandon in-place existing water lines.  The above general outline of features of the work does not in any way limit the responsibility of the Contractor to perform all work and furnish all plant. labor. equipment and materials required by the specifications and the drawings referred to therein. Bidders are expected to inspect the site of the work as provided in the Instructions to Bidders and to inform themselves of all local conditions. Contract drawings. Contract Specifications. and Bid Forms must be purchased in order for a bid to be submitted. Bid documents are being made available via original paper copy or digital file. Bid documents are nonrefundable and must be purchased through the website. This contract is funded in whole or in part by funds  from  the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2014 (H.R.

3547); therefore,this project  must comply with the American Iron and Steel requirements of the Act.

Any contract or contracts awarded under  this invitation for bids are expected to be funded in whole or in part by anticipated funds from the Drinking Water Systems Improvements Revolving Loan Fund (DWSIRLF) Loan Program from the State of Mississippi. Neither the State of Mississippi, the Local Governments  and Rural Water Systems  Improvements Board, nor any of their employees is or will be a party to this invitation for bids or any resulting or related contracts. This procurement will be subject to all applicable sections  of the Mississippi Code of 1972, Annoted, as they apply to local governments, in accordance with Appendix D of the DWSIRLF Program Regulations.
